ADVISOR

The Texas Locksmiths Advisor is published monthly in booklet format and includes news, information on classes/ events, interesting articles, and technical tips for all locksmiths. 

The following shall apply to all advertising in the TLA Advisor, with the exception of business card advertisement copies in back of book from Associate Members: 

If a TLA member wishes to place an ad in the Advisor we do so at NO COST to them. These type ads normally consists of "equipment for sale", "business for sale" or related locksmith only items. They can run the ad FREE for a period of not more than three (3) months in succession per year, if the member would want to run the ad for more than 3 months then there is a charge of $25.00 per month beginning with the 4th month. 

If an Associate Member wishes to place an ad in the Advisor they may request the ad at no cost as long as it is simply giving our members information on new products, product updates, opening a new location or the change of address or phone number for an existing location.  This should be general contact information and not a promotion of a particular item.  The space is subject to availability and at the discretion of the editor. 

If another Association or one of our Associate Members wishes to place an ad in the Advisor for an upcoming event (trade show, manufacturers show, suppliers show) we also do that at no cost to them. 

Black and white line drawings work best, grayscale images may not print well. 

If a Manufacturer, Distributor, Supplier (other than our Associate Members) wishes to place an ad he may do so using the following price chart: 

Full page (print ready) $100.00 per month - $1,000.00 per year

A full page ad being 4.5"w by 7.5"h.

3/4 page (print ready) $75.00 per month - $650.00 per year 

1/2 page (print ready) $50.00 per month - $450.00 per year 

1/4 page (print ready) $25.00 per month - $250.00 per year 

This chart also applies to Associate Members who want to run an ad for more than one (1) month. 

The cut-off date for submissions is the 10th of the month prior to issue date.  Submissions for the June issue must be received by May 10.
